Poem of the Week

I really like this poem that's by Shel Silverstein. I hope you like it!

Snap!
By Shel Silverstein
She opened her umbrella
She thought it was going to rain
Then we all heard a snap
Like the trap of a clap
And we never have seen her again

Bye friends!!! Link of the Day: Me!!

What's in the Unicorn Frappuccino?

Image result for unicorn frappe
You have probably already heard of the unicorn frappuccino at Starbucks. Seriously, it's just birthday cake covered in abnormally sour sugar. It's only available until tomorrow so... after that it will be time for mermaid toast to take over Instagram. Why. Just why. So what is even in the unicorn frappe? Well, it's basically pure sugar. 76 grams to be exact. And that color? Powder packs. A 16 oz of unicorns includes 410 calories and 16 grams of fat. Also, more powder packs ( sour this time ) for those sprinkles that are more like pure lemons. In addition to the lemony taste, there's a mango syrup in there too. The baristas have been BEGGING customers to stop buying this. Not to mention your endangering unicorns😜 So, you still wanna spend 5 bucks for the unicorn frappuccino? I hope you liked this post! Bye! SAVE THE UNICORNS🦄

Things You Didn't Know You Could Do

Here are some tricks that only a few people can do!

  1. Put your hands together. Now, put your third fingers down and try to pull your ring fingers apart. I can do it!
  2. Can you lick your elbow? Half of people try this after they hear it. Gotcha.
  3. Make it look like your eyes are vibrating. A few kids in my class can do this.
  4. Touch your thumb to your wrist.
  5. Make weird shapes with your tounge

I can do 1 and 5. I hope you like this post! Bye bye!

MOSI

A few days ago, I went to an awesome place called MOSI on a field trip and it was so much fun! I had to wake up at 5:30 and be there at 6:15. The bus was actually pretty big. I sat with my friend Sara on the way there and we played a few card games and read a little. When we got there we saw this high wire bike but I had to be at least 120 lbs. to do it so I could not. I saw something being made in a 3D printer too. I even laid down on a bed of nails! On the way back I sat with Bianca and we played Pictopia. I got home at 6:30 and I was SO SO tired.
Bye!!!

Sleepy Life Hacks

I am so bored. So... why not do a life hacks post! I hope you like it!💤💤

  • It is healthier if you sleep on your left side
  • Take a warm bath before you sleep
  • The darker your room is, the better you'll sleep
  • Put a few drops of lavender on your bed sheets and you will fall asleep faster

Those are my life hacks! Bye Bye! Link of the day: Click here

Poem of the Week

                                                        My Pet Unicorn
                                                           Unknown

                                          I have a pet unicorn
                                          I love his shiny horn.
I brush his mane every day
When I give him treats I hear his happy neigh.
Some may name their unicorn magic sparkle of Rob,
But my pet unicorn's name is Bob

Bye Bye!! Happy national unicorn day!🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄

My favorite poem of the week

I Am Unique
By S Raine

I come with no wrapping, or pretty pink bows. I am who I am from my head to my toes. I tend to get loud when speaking my mind. Even a little crazy some of the time. I'm not a size 5 and I don't care to be. You can be you and I could be me. I try to stay strong when pain knocks me down. And the times that I cry is when no ones around. To error is human or so that's what I say. Well tell me who's perfect anyway.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this poem. Bye Bye! Link of the day: Here ya go!

6 facts about cats

Why not is the only thing I will say. Why not?

  1.  Some cats have such short tails, you can barely see them
  2.  Most cats have no eyelashes
  3. Cats can rotate their ears 180 degrees
  4. The first year of a cats life is 15 cat years
  5. Cats have 5 toes on their front paws and 4 on the back.
  6.  Cats don't communicate with meows.

Bye Bye!

The Great American Wax Museum

A few days ago I performed a monologue that I have been memorizing for weeks in chapel at school! I messed up a few times but I think I did really well. I was Nellie Bly. Here is what my monologue said......

Hi there, my name is Elizabeth Cochran but most people know me as Nellie Bly. I was born in Cochran Mills Pennsylvania on May 5, 1864. My parents were named Michael Cochran and Mary Jane Kennedy Cochran. I had four siblings and I was the second born. My father sadly died in 1870, when I was only 6 years old. My mother remarried six years later. My step father was mean and lazy. They divorced when I was 14 and I testified at their trial. I was homeschooled until college and attended Indiana Normal School but did not attend a full year because all of my money ran out. I was hired by the Pittsburgh Dispatch in 1880 but quit to join World Newspaper, which was in New York. In 1887, I was asked to go to Blackwell's Island to sneak into an insane asylum. I stayed there for 10 days pretending o be insane. After, I published a book called " 10 Days in a Madhouse ". In 1889, I had an idea. I asked my boss if I could try to travel around the world and break the fictional character Phileas Phogg's record of 80 days. My boss sai no but I finally convinced him to let me go and I started 2 days later. I found out soon I had a competitor. Her name was Elizabeth Bisland who was a fellow journalist. She was beating me. But soon I eventually pulled ahead and traveled around the world in 72 days! I was exhausted and happy and got a warm welcome home. I quit working for a newspaper to marry my husband Robert L. Seaman. I started working for his manufacturing business after I married him. I invented a milk can and oil drum that is still used today! I took over his business when he died mysteriously in 1904. I went to Austria for vacation and stayed for 5 years to help with World War I. During this time I was the first female war correspondant. I died in 1922 at age 57, on January 27. A lesson you can learn from me is to never give up and take risks.
